The North Dakota state record Yellow perch, White Bass and Walleye were all caught in the Lake Region Area. There are Northern Pike and Musky being caught in these waters that are very impressive, they have been caught in that 50 inch range, but what really makes it all come together for the fishing trip of a lifetime is the great people that live in this area.
The Lake Region area of Devils Lake is located in the middle of the central flyway for great numbers of the local and migrating Ducks, Geese and Sand hill Cranes. We have thousands of acres of private land available for your hunting party. The duck and goose season lasts from the first part of October to the middle of November. We have dogs or you are welcome to bring your own faithful friend with you. The deer hunting here in the prairie pothole region of North Dakota has some very fine Whitetail deer to hunt. There are numerous 8 and 10 point bucks in our area and a few trophy size deer as well. We welcome all gun and bow hunters to our area. The upland game hunting here is real good too. Remember all these seasons will overlap in one way or another and we will make sure that you have the chance to do some very exciting upland game hunting. We have excellent Dove, Sharp-tail Grouse, Hungarian Partridge, and some Pheasants too. But maybe you'd like a different type of hunt, a buffalo, fox or coyote may be more of an adventure for you.
